Custom Pet Portrait Tiles

Starting as a hobby in 2019, Pumpkin & Grumble was started to return to my main focus on art. I've been drawing ever since I was young and my focus was always on animals, but specifically dogs. I had a brief stint doing commission paintings and digital drawings of pets a bit over 10 years ago, and always found myself returning to this specific subject matter over the following years. My dog Chuck, in particular, was a profound driving force in why I began to focus on pets specifically. He was, and has been, my muse for the last 14 years.

There are a ton of traditional pet portrait artist out there, ranging from specializing in painting, traditional drawing, digital paintings, etc. I had wanted to do something different from the rest, so I opted to combine my digital drawings as well as love for crafting to create an entirely unique take on pet portraiture. Every piece I make is 100% custom and individual to each client. I like to learn about your pet (their personality, their specific markings, their quirks, etc.) and apply that to the creation process.

Pumpkin & Grumble is named after my two dogs: Chuck and Ember. I had always referred to Chuck as "pumpkin" since he was a pup, and Ember has an affinity for "grumbling" for treats so it seemed to be a perfect fit.

Having a rescue dog & a senior dog, it is also very important to me to contribute some of my profits towards animal rescues that I love and adore. My goal with starting Pumpkin & Grumble is to share my artwork with others while also contributing to animal rescues that so desperately need funding.
